The Manatee County Safety Council is a non-government, nonprofit corporation established in 1963 for the purpose of fostering a safer environment for the citizens of Manatee County it’s surrounding areas.

The Safety Council is a member supported and controlled organization open to any individual, business or agency that has an interest in promoting safety related issues. Our members are a representation of small business, large corporations, local government, public safety agencies, law enforcement and individual citizens throughout the Manatee and Sarasota area.

MCSC offers a wide variety safety related courses for the workplace and for driving improvement. Classes are offered on campus, on line or on site.

Our Mission is to become the provider of choice for safety related educational resources by proactively assessing and meeting needs, creating partnerships, and utilizing new technologies to improve the quality of life for families, businesses, and individuals in our community.

Our Purpose is to provide safety related expertise, education, and resources by serving as a “safety clearinghouse” to our members and community.
